How to connect Amazon S3 to Adriel
Detailed instructions to help you set up the data source for Amazon S3

Prerequisites
- Amazon S3 account
Instructions
Step 1: Getting Amazon S3 Access Key and Secret
- Login to your AWS dashboard.
- Click [Profile] > [Security credentials] at the upper right of the screen.
- Click "Access Keys" to create Access Key and Secret.
Step 2: Connecting Amazon S3 to Adriel
- Move to Adriel's Connections page.
- Type "Amazon S3" into the search bar.
- Fill in the 6 required fields accordingly to the account that you want to connect to Adriel. Click "Submit" to proceed.
- Name: Any readable name is possible. This won't affect any names that are shown.
- AWS Access Key: Fill in the access key retrieved at Step 1.
- AWS Secret: Fill in the secret retrieved at Step 1.
- AWS Region
- S3 Bucket: S3 Bucket where data will be stored.
- Directory Path: Enter the file(s) path under the bucket. - Fill in the 2 required fields and 3 optional fields.
- (Required) Name: Fill in an identifiable name for the datasource.
- (Required) File Type: Currently only CSV is available.
- (Optional) Alternative Channel Name: Alternative name for the data source
- No icon is provided as a default for this feature. However, some channels can use internally saved icons and display them next to the channel name you just wrote down.
- Refer to this guide to input the correct name to display the icon.

- (Optional) File Name to Filter: The value can be a word found within the file name(s), used for filtering. Ensure accurate capitalization for optimal results.
- (Optional) Header Row: The numeric value of the row number that the real data starts from.
- Click the “Submit” button below to complete the data connection.
