How to connect File from SharePoint to Adriel

Detailed instructions to help you set up the data source for File from SharePoint

Instructions

  1. Move to Adriel's Connections page.
  2. Type “File from SharePoint” into the search bar.
  3. Sign in to your Microsoft account when the pop-up window opens.
  4. Fill in the 5 required and 2 optional fields according to the account that you want to connect to Adriel.
    1. (Required) Name: Fill in an identifiable name for the data source.
    2. (Required) Site URL: Enter the first part of SharePoint URL. Exclude the https:// part for the input. 

    3. (Required) Drive Name: Enter the drive name made on the SharePoint UI. 
    4. (Required) Folder Path: Enter the path to the folder where the files are stored.
      1. For example, for the below case, the input should be hello-test/second-hello-test. Make sure to not include the drive name in the input.
      2. If there is no folder under the drive, enter / into the input. 
    5. (Required) File Type: Choose from the dropdown list. Currently, only CSV file type is being supported.
    6. (Optional) Alternative Channel Name: Alternative name for the data source
      No icon is provided as a default for this feature. However, there are channels that can use internally saved icons and display next to the channel name you just wrote down.

    7. (Optional) File Name to Filter: The value is a word found within the file name(s), used for filtering. Ensure accurate capitalization for optimal results.
  5. Click the “Submit” button below to complete the data connection.
     
    It can take up to one working day for your data to arrive.
