How to connect Matomo to Adriel

Instructions
Step 1: Getting Matomo Token Auth
Follow the steps depending on which version of Matomo you are using.- Matomo 4 or Newer version
- Login to Matomo.
- Click the top menu to move to Matomo Admin.
- Click [Personal] > [Security].
- Click "Create new token" at the bottom of the screen.
- Confirm your account password and fill in the purpose for issuing the token.
- Choose that the token should only be valid for secure requests.
- Click "Create new token" to get your token.
- Matomo 3 or older version.
- Login to Matomo(Piwik).
- Click "Administration" at the top menu.
- Click "API" at the left menu.
- Matomo for WordPress
- The
token-auth
feature is not available for WordPress

Step 2: Connecting Matomo to Adriel
- Move to Adriel's Connections page.

Type "Matomo" into the search bar.
- Fill in the 2 required fields accordingly to the account that you want to connect to Adriel. Click "Submit" to proceed.
- Domain: Fill in https://<clientname>.matomo.cloud
Or move to settings > export > widgets > widgetize dashboards and copy from https:// to .cloud
ex) https://adriel.matomo.cloud
- Token Auth: Fill in the token retrieved at Step 1. - Choose "ID site" that you want to connect among the list. Websites that are linked to your Matomo account, which appear at [All Websites] tab, appear on the dropdown list.
- Click the “Submit” button below to complete the data connection.
It can take up to one working day for your data to arrive.
