How to set up the data source
1. Type "Postgres" into the search bar.
2. Input the value of the database which you would like to connect to in the appropriate place.
- Host, Database, User, Password, Port (Optional)
Input your database hostname.
If your database is hosted behind a firewall, be sure to whitelist the following IP address: 52.79.160.224 - unless we might not be able to read data from your database.
Please check the settings of your hosting machine or your hosting provider.
2-2. Database
Write the database name you would like to import.
2-3. User
The name of a user allowed to read data and connect to your database.
The user must be allowed to connect remotely to the database from the following IP address: 52.79.160.224 and have a read right, or else the connection will fail.
2-4. Password
Enter the password of the Postgres user.
2-5. Port (Optional)
Write your database port (the Postgres default port is 3306).
3. Finally, click the "Submit" button below to complete the data connection and you are done! Please wait, your data will arrive. It can take up to one working day.
