Detailed instructions to help you set up the data source for YouTube Analytics

Instructions
Step 1: Giving Adriel Access to YouTube Public
- Move to Adriel’s Connections page.
- Type “YouTube Analytics” into the search bar.
- Click “Sign in with Google” when the pop-up window opens.
- Click “Continue” to allow Adriel access to the YouTube account.
Step 2: Connecting YouTube Public to Adriel
- Fill in the 6 required fields accordingly to the account that you want to connect to Adriel. Click "Submit" to proceed.
** Only one report from one channel is possible per data source. If wanting to see multiple channels or reports, please create multiple data sources by following the Step 1 and 2.- Name: Name to distinguish this data source. Any readable/identifiable name is sufficient.
- YouTube Channel: Select one channel from the drop-down list that you want to fetch aggregated data.
- Report Type: Select "Channel Reports".
- Detail Report Type: Select between "Video Reports" and "Playlist Reports". Each report type can be segmented into a different detailed level of reports.
** One channel can have multiple playlists. Each playlist would contain multiple videos.
- Video Reports: Access to aggregated data of every video from the selected channel.
→ For this reports, there is a limited number of data that can be fetched at one API call: 200 when video is the first breakdown. - Playlist Reports: Access to aggregated data of every playlist from the selected channel.
- Video Reports: Access to aggregated data of every video from the selected channel.
- Report Template: According to the selected detailed report type above, their templates will show up. Please select one from the drop-down list.
- Each template is written down at the end of this document.
- Sorting Option
- If sorting option is required for the selected template above, it will show up on the list.
- If the sorting option is not required, "Not applicable" will show up. Please select this.
- Click the “Submit” button below to complete the data connection.
It can take up to one working day for your data to arrive.
