Adriel’s dashboard displays your performance data as accurately and consistently as possible by respecting the time zones of your connected ad accounts. Learn how time zones are handled, when data becomes available, and how data updates over time.
Which Time Zone Does Adriel Use for Data Display?
Adriel uses the time zone of each connected ad account when pulling and displaying data.
- When you connect an ad account (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads), Adriel requests daily data directly from each platform’s API.
- The data for each platform is returned according to the time zone set inside that platform’s account.
- Adriel does not transform or convert the time zone data after receiving it.
- This ensures that what you see inside Adriel matches the source platform’s reporting.
For example:
- If your Facebook Ads account is set to KST (Korean Standard Time), the data pulled into Adriel reflects that time zone.
- If your Google Ads account is set to EST (Eastern Standard Time), the data will reflect EST.
Even if multiple accounts operate in different time zones, Adriel preserves each platform's native time zone to keep data fully aligned with your platform reporting.
Is There a Fixed Time of Day When Adriel Finalizes Data?
Adriel does not apply a set time to finalize daily data. Instead:
- Adriel requests full-day data directly from each platform based on that platform’s daily aggregation.
- Most ad platforms close out daily reporting shortly after midnight in their respective time zones.
- When Adriel pulls data, the API returns the complete data for the requested day according to the account’s native time zone.
- There is no need for users to wait for a specific time on Adriel’s side; the platforms handle data finalization automatically.
How Often Does Adriel Refresh Data?
- Adriel refreshes data regularly throughout the day by pulling updates from the connected platforms.
- For most metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, etc.), data stabilizes quickly and typically does not change after the day is complete.
- Organic channels (non-conversion based) usually remain fixed after initial collection, except for “today,” where real-time updates may continue as new activity occurs.
What About Backfilling or Late Updates?
While most daily metrics stabilize shortly after each day closes, some data — particularly related to conversions — may be adjusted within each platform's lookback period:
- Conversion data may update retroactively based on each platform’s attribution settings.
- Lookback windows vary by platform (e.g., 7 days, 30 days), depending on how long conversions can be attributed after the initial ad interaction.
- Adriel automatically reflects these updates when pulling data for any requested period.
For historical reporting outside of attribution windows, data typically remains constant unless modified directly at the source.
Scheduling Exports with DataStream
For customers using Adriel’s DataStream exports:
- Data refreshes regularly, so exported data should reflect near real-time values.
- Since daily data finalization is handled by the platforms themselves, DataStream exports can generally be scheduled confidently after the platform’s daily aggregation completes (typically shortly after midnight in the account’s time zone).
- Upcoming updates will provide a refresh history panel and manual refresh options for additional transparency and control.
Summary
- Adriel respects each ad platform’s native time zone.
- No time zone conversion is applied inside Adriel.
- Daily data is finalized by the ad platforms; Adriel retrieves completed daily data accordingly.
- Conversions may update during attribution windows; Adriel reflects these automatically.
- DataStream exports pull the most up-to-date data available based on each platform’s current reporting.
