FAQ
Dealing with Facebook Ads conversion not appearing on the Adriel dashboard
Detailed instructions to help you deal with the issue of Facebook Ads conversion not appearing on the Adriel dashboard
Lastly modified on: Wed, 12th June, 2024 at 09:54 AM
Issue Type
- Wanted conversion metrics do not appear on Adriel's dashboard even though they are shown in the below (example) Facebook UI.
- The above screenshot is from the Pixel dashboard, not the Ad account dashboard. In order to be shown on Adriel, the metrics should be enabled on the Ad Account dashboard.
- Follow the instructions below to check if the events, which are the wanted metrics, are enabled on the Ad account dashboard.
Instructions
Step 1: Making sure the pixel event is enabled
- Move to your Facebook Ad account dashboard.
- Click "Columns" > "Customize columns" to search for the desired event.
- Add a column and see if the data is on the Ad report view.
If the event still does not appear on this list, please check if
1) it was not enabled correctly or 2) you hit the limit of custom conversions.
Step 2: Setting up custom conversions
- Please refer to the <Use custom conversions to filter events in Meta Events Manager> document.
Limitations
Custom Conversions Limitations
- The maximum number of custom conversions per ad account is 100. If you use Ads Insights API to get metrics on custom conversions:
- Getting product ID breakdowns is not supported.
- Getting unique action counts is not supported.
Pixel was added properly but no data appears
- If there was no conversion for the pixel last year, the metric won’t show up in the metric list.
There needs to be at least 1 conversion for the metric to show up in the list.
